Drawing from Phylis Birkby’s Feminist Architecture Workshops, this is a reimagined programme to consider what your Queer Architecture could look like!
The session will begin with an introduction to the work of Phylis Birkby which will then be followed by a grounding exercise, a re-imagining drawing session and a relaxed discussion about thoughts and feelings on your drawings and notions of the queer home.

The Threadbare Collective is a curators’ collective that analyses the support systems generated by artistic practice. Their work traverses live events, workshops, spatial installation, radio and archiving. They incorporate architectural practice through folly building, constructing collaboratively with local communities and upcycled materials. Threadbare interacts with community history and artist archival works to ask the question, who does art serve? And how can we best employ support structures to allow rest and care practices to flourish?
